What's actually in each plan
The correlation engine, blast radius, and 30+ enrichments are in every plan. Paid tiers scale capacity; Enterprise unlocks compliance features.
Four common shapes
Questions we hear most
What counts as a node?+
A registered Kubernetes node that's joined one of your connected clusters. We get the count from `kubectl get nodes` at the start of every agent heartbeat (once per minute). Control-plane nodes count only if they run workloads; pure control-plane-only nodes on managed platforms like EKS don't.
What happens if I exceed the included node count?+
On Pro, nothing breaks. We meter overage nodes and add them to the next invoice at $2/node/month, prorated. You get an email when a cluster crosses 80 % of its cap and another at 100 %. No surprise invoice — you can always see projected overage in the billing page.
Can I mix monthly and annual subscriptions?+
Yes. Annual is priced per cluster, monthly is also per cluster — you can have some clusters on annual (to lock the rate) and add ad-hoc monthly clusters on top. Canceling a monthly cluster stops billing at the next cycle; downgrading a yearly cluster mid-term earns a prorated credit.
When do I actually need Enterprise?+
Three signals: (a) your security team requires SAML or SCIM, (b) your compliance team requires audit-log export to SIEM, or (c) you need telemetry to never leave your VPC (BYOC mode). If none of those apply, Pro covers you up to 25 clusters and probably stays cheaper than Enterprise at your scale. We'll tell you if the math favours a switch.
Does my cluster data leave my infrastructure?+
On Free and Pro, yes — the agent ships enriched events + metadata through our correlation pipeline on Vercel. Pod logs stay in your Loki unless you view them. On Enterprise BYOC, the agent keeps all telemetry inside your VPC and only serves correlation queries through a private MCP endpoint with mTLS + IP allowlist.
What does the 14-day Pro trial include?+
Everything in Pro, no credit card required at signup. You get the full 30-day correlation window, the MCP endpoint, all alerting destinations, and email support. At day 12 we email a reminder; at day 14 the workspace drops back to Free limits unless you've added a card.
Can Enterprise pricing be negotiated?+
Yes. Published floor is $25 000 / year, actual contracts typically land $40k–$80k for mid-market mixing cluster count, support package, and BYOC add-ons. We publish no per-feature list price for Enterprise — scope the deal around the capabilities you actually need.
Can I self-host klstr?+
Not today. BYOC (agent in your VPC) is the answer for data-sovereignty concerns. A fully self-hosted control plane is Enterprise-only and requires separate engagement — contact sales if that's a hard requirement.
Start free. Upgrade when you outgrow it.
Install the agent on one cluster in under three minutes. Correlation snapshots, blast radius, and the multi-cluster graph light up on the first heartbeat.
